Before your book goes out, the New Wave Press team reviews it with you: expert feedback on making it as successful as possible, and help planning your launch.
That’s true — when AI writes from a prompt, it writes from its own patterns, and everyone gets the same voice. Aldus doesn’t write from a prompt. It writes from hours of you, recorded: your stories, your phrasing, your rhythms, captured in guided interviews. The source material is your actual voice, our systems are built to preserve it, and you approve every chapter before it’s final. If a page doesn’t sound like you, it gets rewritten until it does.
Fair — we’re writing snobs too. The studio’s job is capture, not correction: your Writing Voice Fingerprint™ is locked from a sample chapter you approve before the manuscript is drafted, and everything after is measured against it. And you keep the pen — in the Editing Room you can rework any line, and nothing is ever overwritten without your sign-off. Writers with a developed style tend to be our most hands-on authors, and the system is built for exactly that.
It’s the studio’s working model of how you sound on the page — built from hours of your recorded interviews. The system studies your actual speech: the words you reach for, your sentence rhythms, how you tell a story, your humor, the phrases you repeat without noticing. From that, it drafts a sample chapter. You read it, mark what’s you and what isn’t, and the fingerprint is refined and locked before the manuscript is written. Every chapter after that is measured against it — and every edit you make in the Editing Room sharpens it further. The longer you talk, the more precisely the book sounds like you.
No — and that’s the difference. You don’t hand over bullet points and hope. The studio interviews you, out loud, the way a great collaborator would: real questions, follow-ups, the stories behind the ideas. The book is built from the transcript of you talking — not from a summary of what you meant.
Perfect — you don’t need either. There’s no blank page anywhere in the process. Structure emerges from your interviews; the studio finds the book inside the conversation. If you can talk about what you know, you can make this book.
About 10–20 hours, all in, from zero to completed book — a weekend of talking, or a few relaxed sessions at your pace. Compare that to a minimum of 9–12 months for ghostwritten work, or 2–3 years for traditional publishing. And unlike either of those, you keep complete control the whole way.
You do. Your rights, your files, your royalties, your platform — always. You can export everything and leave at any time. The book is an asset you own, not a license you rent.
Simple: everything is yours. Your recordings, your transcripts, your stories, and the finished manuscript are your intellectual property — we don’t own any of it, and we never use your content to write anyone else’s book. Your material exists for exactly one purpose: making your book.
Yes — because we tell them, proudly, on the copyright page: spoken by the author, set by the studio, approved chapter by chapter by the person on the cover. Full transparency means no one can ever “expose” you. Your credibility is protected by honesty, and the words are yours either way.
We’ll send you a note when the studio opens.
